On Oct 1st. 2010 myself and Cody Howard showed our films, Wet Dreams and Haymaker, at Dragon Graphics in Chico, CA. It was a great event that catered to kayakers and dirt bags alike. Jeff Baylor is the man for hosting such a great event and throwing down to get everyone wasted. There was about 45 people in attendance for the free show and the kick ass $1 raffle which concluded the event.
HUGE shout out to Hippy Tree clothing, Sanuk sandals, Liquid Logic Kayaks, Snapdragon skirts, Watershed dry-bags, Skaddle, and Dragon Graphics for throwing down such sick gear ranging from shoes and cloths, to high quality stretched canvas prints and throw bags. Although a smaller showing, the people that came out were very supportive and fired up for both projects.

California has been having one of the best years for water in decades, and me not being able to stray too far from Shasta, these are just a couple of our local gems. Hopefully be getting some more water this summer but gotta start saving some cash for college and a new computer for Slippery When Wet.
Here is a little video featuring Mears Creek and 2 mins outside town, the Box Canyon of the Sacramento flowing directly out of the Box Canyon Dam. It is nice to be back in the land of kayaking close to home, you never miss it till its gone.
On another note, Thursday was the world premier of HAYMAKER and a quick showing of Shasta Boyz Wet Dreams. There was a great turn out at the Harkins Theater in Tempe, AZ and it was a perfect … Read More »
So we have been lacking some posts around here but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been any kayaking going on. The water has been great up here in nor cal and it does not seem like its going anywhere. After a few days boating I made the drive with my girlfriend from St. Simons Island, GA back to Mt. Shasta, CA. It was an epic drive to say the least and here are some photos from the journey.
On another note, the highly anticipated premier of Huckin Huges HAYMAKER is set for next week on the 24th of June held at the prestigious Harkins Theater in Tempe, AZ. This will be a huge event featuring very impressive white water and top notch cinematography. Cody Howard has put a lot into this project so if … Read More »
It has begun….. the sequel to Wet Dreams. Slippery When Wet will release in 2011 and will feature Big Island Hawaii, plenty of Cali, and much much more. This is the first of many teasers so keep you eyes out for more wet lovin……..
More news….. this past week I nominated our fellow Shasta Boy, Ben Stookesberry, for Rider of the Year 2010. There is really no need to explain why, he is one of the best boaters in my life time and it seemed common sense that he should be in the running for such a title. See my nomination here.
Thanks for everyone keeping up with our adventures and stay tuned for much more.

So the swell here in Santa Cruz is going off, the Mavericks surf competition was held last weekend and boasted some of the largest waves to date. School is in full swing, including 13 hrs of class on tuesdays, so really just looking forward to the Spring and the Wet Dreams/ Haymaker tour coming up in the next couple months. Here is the first sneak peek into our story…..
The trip was a total transit time of 24 hrs of driving and plane transfers, but it felt great to be with a boat heading to a destination we had all be dreaming of. The trip started in Mt. Shasta where I was joined by Justin Patt. We drove to Portland and stayed the night with fellow Shasta Boy Ryan Knight. Ryan was kind … Read More »

We have been in Hilo Hawaii for a week now. Huckin Huge has taken off to film for a Military Channel show in Oahu, while me and Justin Patt stick it out in Hilo, praying for rain.
(Notorious shooting sunrise off our deck)
It has been an action packed week. Searching out volcanic drainages, firing off 1st decents, and getting in as much filming in as possible, given the water we have had. This first week has been all about motivation and getting the shots we need for our projects. Cody Howard has been in the forefront getting in as much action as possible. Without the full crew, (Shon Bollock, Cody Howard, Justin Patt, Jake Sanders, and Harrison Tobin) this trip could not of happened, pure motivation is … Read More »
So its t-minus 3 days before Hawaii and the team is gearing up. Cody Howard, with Huckin Huge Productions will be flying out tomorrow followed by me and Justin Patt on Monday.
Keep praying for rain cause we will need all the precipitation we can get.
The new Go Pro HD head cams, featured in this next video, will easily revolutionize action sports. The clarity and easy to use factor make this product number one in its industry. Check out this little footage from the Upper Sacramento…
Hope everyone has had wonderful holidays and looking forward to this island expedition.
So its on and its official. Shasta Boyz Productions in part with Huckin’ Huge will be invading the islands of Hawaii in early Jan. 2010. This will be the first kayaking expedition to Hawaii I have been a part of and it looks like there will be plenty of actions for all.
Our main target at this point is Hilo on the Big Island, with Maui as our second focus. The footage will be used for Huckin’ Huges new film “Haymaker” and will be an addition to SBP’s sequel to Wet Dreams………….. who’s name will be released once the tour starts in Feb.
There is a ton of potential with this trip and lots of footage that has never been seen before. So make sure to keep all those computers tuned in to see our findings and keep an ear … Read More »
