Its hard to understand the kayak industry unless you’re in it. We love to kayak but we also love to party, loud, long, and hard. The Feather Festival on the North Fork of the Feather river has continued to be a hub for great racing and EPIC partying. This year was no exception. Some of the top athletes on the west coast came and showed what they were made of.

There are a few events featured at the festival, time trials, Hangover-X, and SUP. This year Taylor Robertson cleaned house, 1st place in long boat, boater-x, and SUP. SAVAGE. Here are some photos of the event courtesy of Callie Daniel.

The event had the largest turn out ever with almost 40 racers and far more came to party. A huge thanks needs to go out to Macy Burnham and American Whitewater for putting on the event. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the fall releases. I don’t have photos of them but Charlie Center took 2nd place Long Boat and Chris Korbulic took 1st place in the Short Boat category.

Overall the event was a amazing success and everyone had a great time. Again thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting the event and no doubt it will only be bigger next year. Make sure to catch Shasta Boyz with Huckin Huge this FIRDAY Oct. 1st premiering Wet Dreams/Haymaker at Dragon Graphics in Chico, CA. Hope to see everyone there!!!!
